About Us

Aquagold is a small club based in Dunedin, New Zealand, looking for more swimmers to pursue Artistic Swimming, or better known as Synchronised Swimming. We are excited to coach and help young swimmers grow into confident athletes. We are proud that our athletes develop life skills such as teamwork, time management, commitment, perseverance, respect, co-operation, working together and helping others.

Otago Synchro Stars

One of the last times New Zealand made it to the world stage was Lisa and Nina Daniels, a synchro duet that went to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games - and they're both from Dunedin.

They also competed at the
World Championships in Japan, 2001 and 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

They are one of three duets in Aotearoa history to compete at the Olympics.
